He was quite thin when we rescued him, but he has gained weight, completed his heartworm treatment, and is ready for adoption. He is quite a friendly fellow, has an unusual color and a moderate level of energy.  He is a young hound who likes a structured environment, and loves to be petted and near his people.
Tex is a great companion dog, who loves to spend time by your side being the center of attention.  He gets along well with most other dogs, but prefers other bassets. He would love to have his 'furever' home with the perfect family!
