Gracie May is fully vetted and available for adoption.  Her previous owners dumped her at the shelter, and she deserves an amazing forever family!  Gracie May is about 10 but looks and acts a lot younger.  She loves to go on walks.  She does well with young children and other dogs (but would prefer a middle-aged or senior sibling versus a young pup).  She is usually pretty quiet, but she likes to bark and prance when she is trying to communicate that it's time for important Basset activities like belly rubs or a walk.  Gracie May likes to be near her humans, so she doesn't roam around at night and her foster parents trust her not to get into trouble around the house.  She doesn't get on the furniture even when invited and prefers to cuddle up on the floor next to her family.
