Needs HWT
Lulu is shy, sweet, and petite! She has been enjoying some R&R, which includes sleeping on the sofa. She gets along fine with the resident dogs. She enjoys following her Basset sister outside, and now that she feels a little bit more at home, she is playing pounce and chase. She is also great with kids. Lulu usually has good manners, but her foster parents learned to keep the pill pockets and dog food on a higher ledge once Lulu learned to counter surf. She does occasionally "tinkle" when she gets really nervous or really excited, but who can blame a girl? That has subsided some since she has become adjusted at her foster home. She doesn't understand the dog door yet, so her humans have been taking her outside frequently to potty outside and reinforce good habits. She also likes exploring the backyard and her run is more of a prance (very adorable). Lulu has a calm demeanor but she has a great dog "smile" that lets you know she is grateful and content. Lulu is undergoing heartworm treatment this summer and should be ready for adoption in November or December.
