Hi, my name is Petunia and I live with my foster mom, and occasional other foster Basset Hounds.  I like my foster mom lots, and I like to go on our little strolls every day.  We stroll around the block and I get to sniff and sniff and howl and moo at all the people we meet!  I LOVE meeting new people and make sure they pet me (after all, that’s what they should do – right?).  I also like to nap, my foster mom has lots of dog beds and I like to rotate around them all day.  I also really like breakfast and dinner and snackies!!  My foster mom says I am very food motivated – whatever that means – I know I just like to help out in the kitchen.  Foster mom makes these little baggies of veggies and I get to test the carrots and the bell peppers and the cucumbers.  (I don’t like celery – yuck!).  Anyway I’m always happy to help!  I had some surgery for skin cancer on my tummy, but the vet says it is all gone now, and it isn’t anything that will shorten my lifespan (that’s good, wouldn’t want to miss any meals!).  I’m all healthy now, and just waiting for my forever home – could it be with you?
