Ellis’ nickname is Hunka, which is short for Hunka Burning Love!! He is the sweetest fella ever. Hunka loves to rub up against your leg for attention like he’s a cat! He is just what people think of when they think basset...laid back! Just give this boy a good meal, good treats, dog bed or a comfy chair and he’s quite content! He will walk up to the corner and back, but that’s about all the exercise he cares about...and that may be just because he wants to be petted along the way! One of his favorite places to be is on his bed in the kitchen, or on his other bed in the living room next to ‘his family’. He will let you just love on him all day long and can certainly keep you warm with a basset snuggle on these cold winter days....the doggy door allows him the freedom to go outside any time he chooses. If you like the slow easy manner of a Hunka Burning Love and just enough grey to show maturity then Ellis is your man!
