WE NEED DONATED AUCTION ITEMS!

Start TODAY!!!!! * UNIQUE ITEMS that are not easily purchased do best. Silent Auction items need to be valued at over $25. Live auction items need to be valued at over $200. They do not need to be basset or dog related, but we all love to buy 'basset stuff', and most of the attendees will be dog lovers.
Here's examples of what we need!
- Golf Trip or Round of Golf
- Restaurant Gift Certificates valued at $50+
- Autographed Sports Memorobilia
- Autographed Celebrity Photos
- Photography Sitting
- Tickets to the Races
- Tickets to any Sporting Events
- Tickets to Theater Productions or Concerts
- Unique Handcrafted items
- Lawn Art
- Etched Wine Glasses
How to Acquire Auction Items: (Items should be new, not used, unless antique collectibles)
- Start with yourself! What are your talents, hobbies? For example, maybe you make really good pies! You could donate a homemade pie a month to the highest bidder. Perhaps you have a craft? A Service?
- Next, go to your circle of friends and co-workers. Maybe your friend or relative owns a time-share who could donate a week of vacation, or you or someone you know might donate their concert tickets or seats to a sporting event.
- Finally, seek donations from area businesses around you----your dog groomer, your favorite local nice restaurant, Day Spa, etc.
- Not so confident about soliciting? Then buy something to donate! There are very original items available ONLINE at www.Etsy.com Or search e-bay for unusual items. One of my friends found a beautiful "Faberge" basset hound box! It will be at the auction!

*As you obtain auction items, contact our auction committee members via e-mail at jan@mikol.us with your item information.
All items must be documented for our catalog, with the name of the donor, the value, and item description.
Tax receipts are issued for every donation.
Attendance:
Please plan to attend and bring your friends! You will have a lot a fun, a great meal, good company, and help NTBHR rescue more basset hounds in 2010! The cost is $65/per person. Watch for your invitation in the mail!
