Everybody loves Raymond, and you will, too! This is one Gentle Giant! As you can see from his picture, he is ever so gentle with 2 year old Erin as she feeds him a doggie treat. Raymond is one of the most loving bassets we have ever had in our rescue program. He is a true 'velcro dog', wants to be with you all the time. He doesn't like being outside much, except to do his duties. Raymond is completely housetrained (without a doggie door), has not had any accidents in his foster home for over a month. He understands "sit" and is eager to please. He likes to play with toys and lounge by the pool or next to wherever you are. He loves to take walks, ride in the car, and hang out with people. He plays well with other dogs, and doesn't seem to care what they think of him. He does like the furniture, or a soft doggie bed for lounging. He tries to be a lap dog, though sometimes awkward and clumsy, he still manages to drape his lanky body across your lap. He is a very affectionate basset with a super-sized heart. Raymond is the perfect dog for a family with or without children. He would also like another active dog to play with. He's neutered and ready for his forever family. He is a once in a lifetime basset, and needs a permanent home to last a lifetime.
